Wanda Bruzdzski Pickett

SCHENECTADY- Wanda Bruzdzski Pickett, 82, of McClellan Street, entered into eternal rest on Thursday at Ellis Hospital after a long illness.
Wanda was born in Schenectady a daughter of the late John and Sadie Bruzdzski and was a communicant of the former St. Thomas Church. She was employed at the Schenectady County Courthouse for 25 years retiring in 1989.
Wanda was predeceased by her beloved husband Delbert J. Pickett, Sr. in 2000 after 55 years of marriage, her adoring son and daughter, Delbert J. Pickett, Jr., and Lillian Von Wedal; siblings, John Bruzdzski, Virginia Wood, Edward Bruzdzski, Gloria DiDonna and Joan Palmer.
She is survived by her loving children Della Monticolo, Ronald Pickett, Sharon Chase, Donald Pickett and his wife Elaine, William Pickett and his wife Alisa, Edward Pickett and his wife Linda and Gloria St. Andrews; siblings, Diane Rourke and Gladies Snyder; 20 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 am at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Street with Rev. John Facci officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Monday from 4 to 8 PM.
