Virginia Crotty

SCOTIA – Virginia Crotty, 91, entered into eternal peace on Saturday at home.
Virginia was born in Clay, WV a daughter of the late Samuel and Nancy Miller. She located to the area as a young woman. Virginia worked as a waitress for many years. Later in life she was a devoted homemaker to her family. She was a member of the Scotia Seniors and attended Scotia United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Harold P. Crotty in 1973; and her siblings, Clark Miller, Dolly Cooper, Ida Cooper, Mary Kemp and Glenn Miller.
She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, George and Joan Michel, Jr., of Scotia and her siblings, Helen Hutchinson, of Dover, PA, Goldie Miller and Nora Conan, both of Kenosha, WI and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday at a time to be announced at the Rossi & Ditoro, Union at N. Jay Streets. Interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm.
