SCHENECTADY - Todd Miller, a hardworking and dedicated man, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024 at the age of 64. Todd was a man who believed in the value of hard work and spent his life providing for his family through roles as a security guard, foreman, and in warehouse-related positions.
In addition to his strong work ethic, Todd was a talented basketball player. He played during his high school years at DeWitt Clinton High School and Lehman High School, later continuing his basketball journey at Canton College. His passion for the game and his skills on the court left lasting memories with all who watched him play.
Todd is survived by his loving wife, Diane Macon, and his four sons: Anthony Macon, Todd Macon (and his wife, Jacquelyn Macon), Jamar Macon, Darius Macon, and Felly Zaman. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Alanna Macon, Jamar Macon Jr., Nayla Macon, Teyon Macon, Alayah Macon, Darian Macon, and Alaire Macon.
He is also survived by his father, Herbert Miller Sr., and his wife, Sabrina Miller; his siblings, Herbert Miller Jr. (and his wife, Debbie), Keith Miller (and his wife, Sharon), Guy Miller (and his wife, Leisa), Tanya Adams, and Janae Miller-Ferreira (and her husband, Kevin). He was deeply loved by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Todd was preceded in death by his grandmother, Viola Gaines, and his mother, Marlene Miller.
Todd will be remembered as a man of resilience, dedication, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched.
