SCHENECTADY – Titina Coppola, 83, of Carrie Street, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Titina was born in Alvignano, province of Caserta, Italy, the daughter of the late Girolamo and Maria Rosa Coppola. She immigrated to Schenectady in 1973. She retired from Ellis Hospital with 30 years of service. She was a longtime communicant of St. Anthony’s Church. Titina was a great cook and wishes everyone would take the time to buy a pizza and enjoy it with their family.
Titina was predeceased by her siblings, Alesandro, Giovanina, Arzilia, Filomena and Fonzina; and her in-laws Pasquale and Mariangela.
She is survived by her beloved husband Angelo Coppola; loving children, Pasquale (Jean Marie) Coppola, Gino Coppola, and Mariangela (Timothy) Coppola; grandchildren, Angelo, Mariangela, Dante, and Martina Rose Coppola; sisters-in-law Carmela DiMeo and Teresa (Vincenzo) DiCostanzo and brother-in-law Steven Coppola; many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 12:30 pm at St. Anthony’s Church, Seward Place. Entombment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at St. Anthony’s Church on Saturday from 10:30 am until the Mass.
Masks are required for all services.
