Thomas S. Lanza

SCHENECTADY – Thomas S. Lanza, 66, entered into eternal life on Christmas Day, at Ellis Hospital.
Tom was born in Albany, the son of the late John and Joan Lanza. He attended Albany High School and worked for the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance, retiring after 28 years as a proud civil servant. Tom was a free spirit, laid back, kind of guy; and most importantly a devoted single father.
Tom is survived by his sons, Thomas S. Lanza, Jr. and Paul Lanza; granddaughter, Estella Lanza; siblings, John, Maureen and James Lanza, Michelle (Rich) Coon, Teresa (Ken) Woodmansee, and twins, Ronald and Joseph Lanza; nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday, at 11am at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
Relatives and friends may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-7.
