SCHENECTADY – Steven M. Faraone, 51, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 26, 2017.
Steven was born in Schenectady on November 29, 1965, a loving son of Catherine 'Kay' (Motto) Faraone and the late Dominick 'Dick' Faraone. He graduated from Linton High School and began working at detailing cars. Steven was kind, compassionate and lived his life with great precision. He had a natural aptitude for music, played bass guitar and appreciated all genres of music.
Steven was predeceased by his father, Dominick 'Dick' Faraone
He is survived by his loving mother, Catherine 'Kay' Faraone, of Schenectady; siblings, Joyce (Robert) Willi, of Glenville, David Faraone, of Schenectady and Janet Faraone, of Glenville; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and a niece.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 am from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street and then to St. Paul the Apostle Church, Albany St., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am. Interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Monday from 4 to 7 pm.
Steven's family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the healthcare and support staff for their caring and dedication extended to him.
