GLENVILLE – Stacie B. Iovinelli, 46, passed away at Ellis Hospital on Saturday, December 10, 2022, after a brief illness, she fought a valiant battle.
Stacie was born in Niskayuna on September 25, 1976, the daughter of the late Edward and Linda Terns Iovinelli. She grew up on the family compound in Glenville and was a 1994 graduate of Niskayuna High School. She valued her family’s dedication to law enforcement and graduated from SUNY Brockport, with a Bachelor’ of Science degree in criminal justice. For the past twenty years, Stacie has been employed as an investigator for NYS Department of Motor Vehicle. In addition, for the past five years, she holds a position with the US Marshalls working on the Fugitive Task Force. Her service on both positions she commits to, is one of praise as an extremely hard-working deputy whose performance of duty is always above and beyond the call. Stacie was strong, tenacious and hard as nails; however, to those she treasured, she was kind, loving and kept them in the warmth of her heart. Stacie plays rugby and was instrumental in 2000, starting the Albany Sirens Rugby Team. She kept herself in great physical condition, enjoyed working out, and loved dogs and traveling, especially to Disney. If there was a bargain to be had, she’d find it. It there was a drink with ice, she would not drink it. Stacie is already angry about how long this obituary is and how much her family spent on it.
Stacie was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Jason Iovinelli.
She is survived by her cherished family, beloved husband, Joel Bianchi; loving children, Jason Broderic Bianchi, Greer Bianchi and Kinsey Bianchi; devoted, brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Jennifer Iovinelli; niece and nephews, Domenica Iovinelli, Gianni Iovinelli and Luciano Iovinelli; many friends and colleagues.
Services will be held on Friday at 6 pm at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street, with John Califano as the celebrant.
Relatives, friends and colleagues are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Friday from 3 to 6 pm.
