Shirley Jean Dubanowich

WATERVLIET- Shirley J. Dubanowich, 61, entered into eternal rest on Monday at
St. Peter's Hospital after a brief illness.
Shirl was born in Niskayuna on June 3, 1950 the daughter of Dorothy Ehlers Dubanowich and the late Frank Dubanowich. She was a 1968 graduate of Niskayuna High School and attended SUNY Cortland. She received her Bachelors of Arts Degree from Empire State College. Shirley worked at St. Joseph's Provincial House in Latham, she enjoyed her job and loved caring for and helping the elderly sisters. She later worked at the Bonton in Latham.
She is survived by her loving mother, Dorothy of Greer, SC; siblings, Thomas Dubanowich and his wife Judy, of Charlton and Beverly Ann Clayton and her husband Robert, of Greer, SC; an aunt, Janet Mohler, of IN, five nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday morning at 11 am at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Streets, relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home from 10 to 11 am. Interment will take place at Memory's Garden, Colonie.
