Sandra L. "Sandy" Anderson
February 13, 1942 – May 7, 2026
Sandra L. "Sandy" Anderson, a lifelong resident of Niskayuna, New York, passed away suddenly on May 7, 2026. Born on February 13, 1942, she was the cherished daughter of the late Esther and Sylvester William Laudato.
Sandy dedicated decades of service to her community as a beloved bus driver, greeting every passenger with a warmth that made them feel at home. Outside of work, she found simple joy in the beauty of the beach and her treasured collection of bunnies. Known for her boundless generosity, Sandy’s true love language was gifting; she took great pride in never missing a birthday or Christmas card, ensuring her family and friends always felt remembered and special.
She is survived by her brother, Kent Laudato, and her two devoted grandchildren, Ciejai Pauley and Jacob Pauley, whose unconditional support meant the world to her. Sandy was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Clark; and her beloved daughter, Erin Leigh Pauley.
As her family remembers her deep warmth and the life she so freely shared, they hold close the sentiment: "Gram, I love you no bounds". Sandy will be deeply missed and forever appreciated for the many ways she brightened the lives of those around her.
