Sadie 'Sally' Rush

SCHENECTADY –Sadie 'Sally' Rush, formerly of Chrisler Ave, died Wednesday June 27, 2012 at The Avenue.
Sadie, the daughter of the late Jacob and Victoria Walkowiak was born and educated in Schenectady. She worked for the General Electric Company, retiring in 1967 after many years of dedicated service.
A special thank you to the staff at The Avenue for Sadie's care.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Rush, two sisters and one brother.
Sadie is survived by her step- daughter, Dolores Heisler; step-granddaughter, Cathy Tarantelli and her husband Joseph; five step- great-grandchildren and two step great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 11 am at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Street and then to St. Anthony's Church, Seward Place, where a Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Monday from 10 to 11 am.
Memorial contributions may be made in Sadie's memory to a charity of one's
