ROTTERDAM – RoseMary Cuomo DeSantis, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 on her 93rd birthday.
RoseMary was born and educated in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary Pisano Cuomo. She worked many years as a wrapper/packager for Selected Meat Packers in Rotterdam. RoseMary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cook, especially her Italian specialties.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William DeSantis; and siblings, Peter, Frank and Neil Cuomo, Virginia Mercoglan, Anne Peek and Lucy Buono.
Survivors include her loving daughter Kristine Malinowski and her husband Richard, and adoring granddaughter, Tracie Malinowski: sister, Laura Della Villa all of Rotterdam; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street. Interment will follow in Sts. Cyril & Method Cemetery, Rotterdam.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Wednesday morning from 9:30 until the service.
Memorial contributions may be made in RoseMary's memory to Folts Home, Activities Dept. 104 N. Washington St., Herkimer, NY 13350.
