Rose U. Meola

SCHENECTADY- Rose U. Meola, 88, entered peacefully into eternal rest Sunday on the Feast of the Solemnity of Mary at Ellis Hospital.
Rose was born and educated in Schenectady, a daughter of Angelo and Lucia Notartomaso Meola. She worked as a route director for 35 years at American Laundry. Rose loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a devoted communicant of St. Anthony's Church.
Rose was predeceased by her loving siblings, Mary DeCrosta, Patrick DeMarco, Concetta Flint, Ernest DeMarco and Silvio Meola.
She is survived by her many adoring nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday morning at 9 am at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Street and then to St. Anthony's Church, Seward Place where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am. Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home Thursday from 6 to 8 am.
