SCOTIA – Rocky Attanasio, 66, passed away on Wednesday, September 10th at Ellis Hospital after a short illness.
Rocky was the son of the late Elmer and Antoinette Negro Attanasio. He was a 1966 graduate of Linton High School and served in the United State Navy. Rocky worked for the General Electric Company in Schenectady.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Peter Attanasio.
Rocky is survived by his wife, Sally Pinchuk Attanasio, whom he married in 2009; daughter, Marie Kress and her husband Chuck; siblings, Sandy Attanasio and Lenny Attanasio and his wife Cindy; grandchildren, Jason and Sarah; nephew and nieces, Peter Attanasio, Jr., Tracy Scott, Lisa Craig and Amy Attanasio and a sister-in-law Phyllis Attanasio.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday morning at 9 am at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 52 Blue Barns Road, Rexford, NY with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
