Robert P. Decann

SCHENECTADY – Robert P. DeCann, 59, of Watt Street, died suddenly Friday evening at his home.
Bob was born on November 23, 1952 in Clifton Springs, NY a son of the late Robert and Paula Burditt DeCann. Bob worked in sales for a variety businesses. He was an avid fisherman and loved watching his NY Yankee's and playing cards.
Survivors include his two sons, RJ DeCann and Nicholas P. DeCann, both of Schenectady; his former wife Maria Ponzillo DeCann of Rotterdam; his step-mother Lucy DeCann of Newark, NY; several siblings and his card group of friends.
Services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 am from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Streets, with the Fr. Isopo Officiating. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 pm.
