Robert J. 'Bob' Laurange

SCHENECTADY – Robert J. ‘Bob’ Laurange, Jr., 64, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday.
Bob was born in Schenectady, the son of Elva Basile Laurange and the late Robert J. Laurange, Sr. He attended Linton High School. Bob worked for the Marriott Hotels in Florida for several years and returned to Schenectady where he worked locally in the construction industry.
Bob enjoyed helping his family and friends. He had a rare heart and a spitfire soul.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Elva Laurange; siblings, Michael (Damaris) Laurange, Anthony Laurange, Michele (Earl) Trapp, and Deborah (Richard Devine) Laurange; his aunt, Florinda Basile; a niece, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Monday from 8:30 -10 am, a Mass will follow at 11 am at St. Anthony’s Church. The interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
