Richard A. 'Rit' Sanders, Jr.

SARATOGA SPRINGS - Richard A. Sanders, Jr., 46, passed away after a brief illness on Friday at Saratoga Hospital.
Rit was born in Schenectady, the son of Richard 'Ritt' Sanders, and the late Belinda Schults Masterpole. He attended Saratoga High School and Electrician Trade School. He worked as a licensed electrician in the local area. Rit was kind, generous and fun loving; he loved his music, especially the Rolling Stones.
Rit was predeceased by his; loving mother Belinda; great-grandmother, Schultsie; grandparents, Mary and Joseph Schults and Estelle Sanders; uncle, Butch Schults and aunt, Susan Schults.
Survivors include his loving father, Richard 'Ritt' Sanders and his wife Linda; his uncle and aunt; confidant, adviser and best friends, Jim and Joan Schults; his cherished aunt, Gerry Schults; uncle, Donald Sanders, cousins Susan Maloney and Dena Sanders; dear friends, Paul, Colleen and Michelle Moyer and Danielle Swem; several aunt, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held on Thursday at 1 pm at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union St. Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Thursday from 11am until the service.
