R. Anthony Nocera

CLIFTON PARK – R. Anthony Nocera, 55, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness.
Anthony was born on January 10, 1963 a son of Ralph A. and Barbara (Pucci) Nocera. He was a 1981 graduate of ND-BG; attended Wagner College, on Staten Island and earned his BA from Russell Sage College. He worked in the health care field for many years. Anthony was a faith filled man with a generous heart, who loved his family immensely. He was devoted to his St. Luke's Church community, treasured his relationship with his niece and nephews, and loved all "God's Creatures". With his kind and generous ways, Anthony volunteered his time at the Damien Center.
The Nocera family would like to thank Cynthia Miller, MD for her compassionate care and skillful treatment and the ICU nurses at Albany Medical Center for their outstanding care and treatment of Anthony.
He was predeceased by his brother Mark R. Nocera.
In addition to his loving parents Anthony is survived by his companion; Hannah Schultz; siblings, Tina Drouin; and Todd (Gina) Nocera; nephews and niece, Nicolas, Michael and Mark Nocera and Macy Drouin; uncles and aunts, Dominick and Peggy Pucci and Nicholas and Rose Nocera; sister-in-law, Jina Nocera; and several cousins.
Services will be held on Monday at 1pm at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street, with Fr. Dominic Isopo, officiating.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday from 10am until the Service.
For memorial contributions, those wishing may make a memorial contribution to St. Luke's Food Pantry, 1241 State Street, Schenectady, NY 12304.
