ROTTERDAM – Pauline DiCaprio Corvino, 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday at home, surrounded by her loving family after a long illness.
Pauline was born June 12, 1923 , in Schenectady a daughter of the late Joseph and Emerina Lippiello DiCaprio. She attended local schools and worked many years as a matron for the Schenectady City School District. She was a devoted homemaker and she cherished her loving family. Pauline was a communicant of St. Madeline Sophie Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Alfonso Corvino whom she married July 6, 1952 and he died June 26, 1979; siblings, Anthony DiCaprio, Pasquale DiCaprio and Michelina Butler.
Survivors include her loving children; Teresa M. Ody and her husband David, and Alfonso Corvino, all of Rotterdam; adoring granddaughters, Kimberly Ody and her companion Scott Kirker and Michele DesChamps and her husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Alex, Angelo and Brendan; many nieces and nephews.
Services and interment were held for the family.
