Paula J. Stevens Defrancesco

Town of Grafton – Paula J. DeFrancesco, 69, entered into the Arms of the Lord on Friday, June 18, 2021, at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Paula was born in Troy, on October 18, 1951, a daughter of the late John and Betty DiBell Gregware. She graduated from Troy High, HVCC, Cortland, and received her Master’s Degree from Russell Sage College. She was employed as a physical education teacher for the Troy Enlarged School District for 36 years. Paula was a Lifetime Auxiliary member of the PH; a volunteer at the Grafton Senior Center; the Everett Wagner Senior Center; and a Clog dancer. Paula had a kind and generous heart and loved helping others. She loved her family, her dogs, and traveling.
She is survived by her beloved husband, John DeFrancesco, whom she married on August 2, 2003; her loving daughters, Jamie Stevens, Dayna (Scott) Cummings, Marcy and April DeFrancesco, and three grandchildren.
Services will be private for the family.
