SCHENECTADY - Paula A. Colucci, 74, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Saratoga Hospital, surrounded and supported by the love and comfort of her family. Strong-willed and independent, Paula handled her health struggles quietly and in her own way.

Born in Schenectady, Paula was the daughter of the late Clifford and Louise (Rosa) Wood. She was a graduate of Linton High School and continued her education at Schenectady County Community College.

Paula was the quintessential mother and grandmother whose greatest joy and purpose in life was her family. She loved deeply, gave selflessly, and devoted her heart entirely to those she cherished most. Everything she did in life was for her family, and her love will continue to guide and comfort them forever.

Paula was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frederick ‘Fred’ Colucci, and her treasured son, Frederick J. Colucci.

She is survived by her family, who she was endlessly proud of and who loved and treasured her dearly; her children, Lisa (Eric) Colucci, of Myrtle Beach, SC, Christine Colucci of Ludlow, MA, Laura Colucci, of Glenville and Nicholas Colucci, of Goshen, NY; grandchildren, Victoria (Nick) Colucci, Erica (Christopher) Morse, Carys Colucci, Gavin and Morgan Vala; great-grandchildren, Paul, Giulia, Cecilia, Caroline and baby Emilia to be arriving soon; twin sister, Patricia Fyvie, her husband Thomas and their sons; and dear friend and confidant of over 50 years, Rosemary Hoag.

The Colucci family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Staff of Saratoga Hospital, for the care, kindness and empathy bestowed upon their Mom.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday, May 13th from 3-7pm  with a Service at 7 pm, officiated by Fr. John Provost,  at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street.
