Paul Angerami

Daniel Island, SC – Paul V. Angerami, 83, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, comforted in his final days with his former stepdaughter at his side.

Paul was born in Schenectady, New York, the son of the late Paul J. and Rose Zarriello Angerami. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and dedicated 33 years at Turnpike Elementary School in Lansingburgh where he was a Gym Teacher. Throughout his career, Paul enjoyed encouraging young people through sports and physical activity. Outside of the classroom, Paul enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid golfer, a devoted fan of the New York Yankees and Detroit Lions. Paul was a devoted son who selflessly cared for his mother as her needs increased. He also found steadfast companionship in his beloved dog, Cody, whose loyalty and affection meant a great deal to him.

Paul is survived by his former stepdaughter, Brooke & her husband Brian Yanke, & their children; Jacob & Avalon Yanke; his former stepdaughter, Kelly & her husband Sean Darke, and their children, Liam, Siena and Landon Darke.

A Private Service will be held at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street, Schenectady, Interment to follow in the family plot in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schenectady.
