Patsy J. Meola

January 1, 1913 — September 18, 2016

BOCA RATON - Patsy Meola, loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 18th, at the Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, Florida.
Pat was born in Schenectady on January 1, 1913. He worked for General Electric for 47 years and retired as Manager of Equipment Manufacturing Services.
Pat was predeceased by his wife, Jennie in 2012. They were lifetime members of St. Anthony's Church. After residing in Schenectady for 98 years, he moved to Boca Raton, Florida. His life was centered around his family, providing them with unconditional love, wisdom and strength. Though he never had the opportunity to graduate from high school or go to college, he encouraged his children and grandchildren and understood the importance of a good education. He was also an avid gardener with a very green thumb, and passed on this gift to his children and grandchildren. Pat will forever live on in the hearts of his beloved family.
He is survived by his loving children, Angela Stadulis (Frank), of Boca Raton, Michael Meola (Linda), of Schenectady and Peter Meola (Carol), of Hartsdale, NY; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at St. Anthony's Church, Seward Place, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Richard A. Carlino at 3 pm. Interment will follow in Sts. Cyril & Method Cemetery, Rotterdam.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at St. Anthony's Church on Wednesday, from 1 to 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to the The Meola Family Endowed Scholarship Fund at Union College (Union College, 807 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308), a scholarship established for Schenectady High School students who attend Union College.
