Patricia Ann Olsen

With deep sorrow and much love, we mourn the passing of Patricia (Patty/Pat) Olsen of Scotia NY on June 15th at the age of 82 years. She was born in Niskayuna and attended Highschool there, graduating in 1962. With her lifelong devotion to her faith, she attended Scotia United Methodist Church.
She leaves behind a loving sister Joyce Horton, many nieces and nephews and numerous cousins, extended family, and wonderful friends. As well as Rebecca Sherman and Isaac Johansen who were like grandchildren to her.
She was predeceased by her mother Ruth Ester Quick, father John Charles Sr., sisters Winifred and Dorothy and brothers John Jr., Donald, Clarence, Kenneth, Carl, Earl, Paul and Thomas.
She was a dear friend who touched countless lives. She always remembered birthdays and was known for sending cards for every occasion. Known to always remember phone numbers, she greatly enjoyed her many daily phone calls with friends and family. Everywhere she went, she knew someone. Incredible at striking up conversations and making friends. Everyone that knew her knew that she loved to cook and especially bake and share those delicious treats with anyone she could.
She will be greatly missed. Spread kindness, bake, and share her recipes!
Calling hours will be held on Monday June 23rd at the Rossi Ditoro Funeral Home 501 Union Street Schenectady NY 12305 from 9AM - 11AM.
A church and celebration of life luncheon will follow at 11:30AM at the Scotia United Methodist Church 201 North Ten Broeck Street, Scotia, NY 12302.
