Patricia Pyszkowski Kwak

SCHENECTADY – Patricia H. Pyszkowski Kwak, 73, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Sunday at Ellis Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Patricia was born in Schenectady, a daughter of the late Joseph and Stella Skowronski Pyszkowski. She was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. Patricia worked at the Department of Motor Vehicles and retired after 35 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed ushering at Proctor’s, loved bowling and traveling.
Patricia was predeceased by her brothers, Victor Pyszkowski and Walter ‘Beaver’ Pyszkowski.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 48 years, John Kwak; devoted children, Michael J. Kwak and his wife Eileen and Bruce Kwak and his longtime companion, Jean Allen; grandchildren, Jonathan, Timothy, Michelle and Nathan Kwak; loving sister, Irene Madcharo, of Ballston Spa.
Services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 AM from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Streets, then to St. Luke’s Church, State Street, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s memory to Proctor’s Theatre, 432 State Street, Schenectady, NY 12305.
