GLENVILLE – Olga L. Zyskowski, 91, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Olga was born in Schenectady the daughter of the late Ernesto and Louise Mauriello Sabatelli. She was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. Olga was employed as an executive secretary locally for the General Electric, SCCC and the Teresian House. She enjoyed her summer home on Sacandaga Lake, making countless memories with her family and friends. Olga was a humble, kind and selfless woman; she was the voice of reason and a great confident who deeply cared for others. She was a member of the Polish American Veterans, VFW Post 1895, the Rotterdam Elks, L.O.R.E., a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, and served as a Resident Ambassador of the Atrium.
Olga was predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, Raymond Zyskowski; a grandson, Noah McClaskey, and siblings, Gloria Frigolette, Angeline Aldi, Raymond, Arnold, and Eugene Sabatelli.
She is survived by her devoted and loving children, Kenneth and Carol Zyskowski of Delanson; Kathy and James McClaskey of Cornelius, NC and Raymond J. Zyskowski, Jr. of Hadley; grandchildren Brian Zyskowski; Michael Zyskowski; Nina McClaskey; Katherine & Robert Duell; Dorothy & Kevin Koryto; Raymond J. & Caitlin Zyskowski, III; great-grandchildren, Sienna Zyskowski; Ethan Zyskowski; Brynn & Bryce Duell; Brandon & Alexander Koryto; Olivia Zyskowski; also survived by several nieces, nephews & cousins.
Services will be held Tuesday morning at 9 am from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street, and then to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Princetown Road, where a Mass will be celebrated at 10 am. Interment will follow in Schenectady Memorial Park.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home Monday evening 3 to 7 PM.
