SCHENECTADY- Nicoletta Carrieri, 89, was peacefully called home by the Lord at the Baptist Health & Retirement Center on February 24, 2011.
Nicoletta was a daughter of Louis and Maria Mastrandea Carrieri and was born in Jessup, PA. She was the epitome of compassionate giving to all who knew her.
Nicoletta was predeceased by her brother, Michael Carrieri.
Survivors include her loving sisters, Mary Sabatini, Catherine Fanales, Helen Lazzari and Gina Carrieri; sister-in-law, Dorothy Carrieri; nieces, Michele Damelio and her husband Thomas and Maria DeMartino; nephews, Joseph Lazzari and his wife Susan, Louis Ventresca, Stephen Ventresca and his wife Marlene and Bruce Carrieri; she is additionally survived by several great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Baptist Health & Retirement Center and Community Hospice for their heartfelt compassionate care of Nicoletta.
A Mass celebrating the life of Nicoletta Carrieri, will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Pleasant Street. Entombment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie.
At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 1411 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12308.
