Nancy Burke Gannon Lee

Schenectady - Nancy Gannon Lee died peacefully in her daughter's home in Schenectady on February 28th 2013, a couple of months after her 90th birthday.
Nancy was born on November 21, 1922 in Stamford, CT. Nancy was a great inspiration to her children and her students during her life. At age 42 Nancy completed her lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. She taught in various schools in the Dayton Ohio area for 23 years. Once retired she tutored students for another 14 years.
Nancy is survived by her children, Karen Lee Fikri of Schenectady, Dr. Arthur Francis Lee and Clayton Richard Lee of Cincinnati Ohio, along with 9 grandchildren and a 2 year old great-grandson.
Nancy's Burial Mass will be in Cincinnati, OH, and she will join her husband Arthur Edward Lee at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton Ohio.
Family will receive Schenectady/Albany friends at her daughter's home at 1791 Central Parkway in Schenectady from 3pm to 5pm on Monday March 4th, 2013.
