SCHENECTADY - Michael A. Pierotti, 62 of Harborside Dr, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 13, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with Neuroendocrine Tumor.
Mike was born in Schenectady on August 16, 1956, son of Ernest and Sarah Borini Pierotti. He graduated from Linton High School class of 1974 and attended HVCC and Union College. He was employed at St. Clare’s Hospital as a biomedical engineer and subsequently became their facilities manager. His most recent employment was with Johnson Controls and CBRE.
Mike was a gifted musician and woodworker. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling and snorkeling.
He is survived by his cherished fiancée, Marilyn Tralongo, of Schenectady; adoring daughters, Sara Pierotti and her husband, David Smith and Christina Pierotti and her husband, Andrew Donnelly, all of Scotia; his devoted parents, Ernie and Sarah Pierotti, of Glenville; loving brothers; Rick (Trisha) Pierotti, of Leland, NC; and Jim Pierotti, of Buffalo; nephew, Dante Pierotti and niece Demitria Pierotti; great-nephew, Gavin Pierotti; the loving and supportive Pierotti and Tralongo families; and many special friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass which will be con-celebrated on Saturday at 11 am at St. Anthony’s Church, 331 Seward Place.
