Mary T. (Urban) Martin, 59 of Schenectady, NY passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on April 16, 2021, after fighting a long battle with cancer.
Mary was born on July 23, 1961, to Eleanor and Paul Urban in Schenectady, NY. She is predeceased by her mother, father, and sister Barbara Caracciolo.
She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 37 years, David M. Martin. She is also survived by her two children, Tiffany (Martin) Morales, and Jason Martin. Several nieces and nephews will lovingly continue to remember their Aunt Mary.
She was employed by US Foods in Clifton Park until her retirement and is remembered fondly by all. Mary enjoyed painting, BINGO, and lottery tickets, and in the past even bought a car with her winnings.
Mary was a dedicated and loving mother and a caring friend to many people during her life. She treated her friends as family and loved everyone with her whole heart. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be made at a later date. Donations to Schenectady Hospice or the American Cancer Society may be made in Mary’s name.
