Mary Antoinetta Stater

GLENVILLE – Mary Antoinetta Stater, 95, entered into the arms of the Lord on Sunday April 27, 2025 surrounded by her loving family after a brief stay at Capstone Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.
Mary was born and educated in Schenectady NY, a 1948 graduate of Nott Terrace High School, she was the daughter of the late Bartholomew and Angela (DiCocco) DeLegge
After Graduation Mary was employed at a variety of positions with the General Electric Company, where she met and married the love of her life Robert. After marriage Mary and Robert settled in Glenville NY where they raised six children. An avid crafter Mary loved to bake and garden in her free time.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert and sister, Rose and niece Josephine. Mary is survived by; her loving children, Bartholomew Stater, of Pottstown, PA, Christopher Stater, of Glenville, Maria (Mark) Hannon, of Glenville, Elisa Stater, of New York City, Lori Stater-Burch, and Michele Stater of Glenville; adoring grandchildren, Evan and Darren Stater, Joelle Lancaster, and Cameron Burch; a great-granddaughter, Scarlet Lancaster; a brother-in law John Stater and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday May 2, 2025 at 1 p m at St. Anthony’s Church, 331 Seward Place. Interment will follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Glenville.
