GLENVILLE – Mary Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Insogna, 77, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 29th at Ellis Hospital.
Betsy was born in Schenectady on November 17, 1945, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Eaglesham. Betsy attended high school in Chicago, and went on to Missouri State University, in Springfield, MO. She relocated back to Schenectady and worked locally for New Telephone and KAPL. Betsy was a kind and loving woman, devoted to her family. She enjoyed the arts, dabbling in drawing and entertaining family and friends.
Betsy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony ‘Tony’ Insogna, whom she married on January 9, 1982; her siblings, Judi Donaghy and Tom Eaglesham, III.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Erin (Kevin) Buckley, of Waxhaw, NC, Kate (Christopher) Roberts, of Belmont, NC and Stephanie (Brad) Adair, of Scotia; her grandchildren, whom she adored, Finn Buckley, Natalie and Sydney Adair; siblings, Bruce (Teddi) Eaglesham, Janet McEwan and John Eaglesham,; sister-in-law, Olivia (Kenneth) Grant; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 2 PM at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street, with Br. Ron McCloskey, PB, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Friday from 12- 2 PM.
