ROTTERDAM – Marilyn J. Mormile, 77, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday at Ellis Hospital.
Marilyn was born and raised in Schenectady. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Marcelli Carringi. She graduated from Nott Terrace High School. Marilyn worked as a nursing aid and then as an LPN for Albany County Nursing Home. She later worked as a pin tester and wire winder for Faultfinders in Latham. Marilyn was a devoted, loving and caring homemaker. She could cook up an Italian feast for her family, she enjoyed reading, the ocean beaches, but most of all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and the time she was able to spend with them .
She was predeceased by her beloved husband John S. Mormile and her siblings.
Marilyn is survived by her loving children, Steven and Joyce Mormile, of Wylie, TX, Lynn and Michael Fiorillo, and John Mormile, all of Rotterdam; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
