SCHENECTADY – Margaret Puccetti, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday at her residence, she was 98 years old.
Margaret was born in Schenectady on November 22, 1914 the daughter of Luigi and Angela Morrell Pirro. She attended vocational school and graduated as an LPN. She worked her entire career with Ellis Hospital, retiring in 1977 after many years of dedicated service. Margaret was a loving woman, dedicated to her work and her family and friends. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church and most recently Our Lady of Fatima Church.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Harold Puccetti Sr.; her son Harold Puccetti, II; grandsons, Paul Olsen, Jr. and Michael Puccetti; daughter-in-law, Judy Puccetti; son-in-law, Paul Olsen, Sr. and siblings, Pasquale, Biagio, Anthony, Andrew, Julius and Eugene Pirro, Mary Crescent Guarino, Florence Descagna, Angela Pirro, Amy Neapolitano, Louise Cartwright and Irene Torelli.
She is survived by her devoted children, Roberta Olsen, of Schenectady and Dante Puccetti, of CA; loving grandchildren, David Olsen, of CO, Kevin Olsen, of NC and William Olsen, of Schenectady; her sisters, Eleanor Caruso, of Schenectady and Gloia Weber, of CA; several great and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday at 9:30 am at the Rossi & Ditoro, Union at N. Jay Streets with Fr. Dominic Isopo officiating. Interment will follow in St John the Baptist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Monday morning from 8 to 9:30 am.
