GLENVILLE – Margaret Giaquinto, 92, formerly of Sunnyside Road died Wednesday at Ellis Hospital after a long illness.
Margaret was born in New York City on June 18, 1918, a daughter of the late Harry and Margaret Brower Williams and has lived in Glenville for many years. She worked for the General Electric Company for several years and New York State Department of Taxation and Finance for over 20 years. She was a member of the Civil Service Employees Association and a communicant of Pilgrim Holiness Church.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband Harvey Giaquinto; and a brother, Robert Williams.
She is survived by her loving and devoted sons, Joseph and his wife Judith Giaquinto; Peter and his wife Ella Giaquinto, all of Glenville; a sister, Marie Pearson of Northport, LI; grandchildren, Kenneth Giaquinto of Daytona Beach, FL, Karen Bova and her husband Ronald of Glenville, James Giaquinto of San Francisco, CA, Steven Giaquinto and his wife Arlene of Ft. Mill, SC and Daniel Giaquinto of Ft. Mill, SC; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Sarah and Emily Bova and John Giaquinto; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street at N. Jay, Thursday morning from 10 AM to 12 Noon. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at noon at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, with her nephew, the Rev. Anthony Bartlette officiating. Interment will follow at Vale Cemetery.
