SCHENECTADY – Lynn M. Gordon, 64, of Strong Street, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025 at St. Peter’s Hospital, after a brief illness.
Lynn was born in Schenectady on April 6, 1961, the daughter of the late Thomas Gordon and Janis (Nicklaw) Hopkins. She was a graduate of Linton High School and for the past 13 years worked for the Schenectady City School District. She was a devoted mother whose love for her family knew no bounds, and in turn, she was deeply cherished. Her life was centered on those she held dear. To say she will be missed is an understatement.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Guy Gordon.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted family; children, Corina (Nick) Beeman, April (James) Schrom, Kimberly Schrom, David (Jillian) Pepper; grandchildren, Ryan Beeman, Adrianna Colon, Rafael Grullon, Jr., Noah Colon, James Wilson, Jr., Jordan Wilson, and Lincoln Pepper; brothers, Keith (Corinna) Gordon, and Brian (Nikki) Gordon; several nieces, nephews and other family.
Services will be held on Friday at 11am at Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5-8 pm.
