Louise Potente Rayner

SCHENECTADY- Louise Potente Rayner, 83, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, with her loving husband at her side. Louise was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Lenta Potente. She was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and Spencer Business College. Louise worked and lived in Canada and Texas, returning to Schenectady in 2001. Louise worked as a Sr. Keyboard Specialist for the NYS Department of Civil Service in Albany, a career that she extremely enjoyed. Louise was a kind and gentle woman; an avid runner and a lover and cat rescuer. She was predeceased by her sister, Delia Davies. Louise is survived by her beloved husband, Keith N. Rayner; step-daughter, Meritt Rayner; several nieces and grand-nieces. Services will be private.
