NISKAYUNA - With heavy hearts the family of Lily Concetta Brown of Niskayuna announce the unexpected passing of our much loved, bright, beautiful and bubbly Lily on January 4th, 2026 at Ellis Hospital.

Lily was born on April 13th, 2000 in Niskayuna to Sean and Lynn (Orsini) Brown. Lily graduated from Niskayuna High School with a Regents diploma in 2018. Lily dedicated herself as an Administrative Assistant II for NYS OPWDD. She took great pride in her professional accomplishments & in the connections she made with her colleagues.

Born with the heart of a lion, Lily always had a strong will to chart her own course. Lily Concetta, better known as “Yiddie” in her youth, was filled with wit, laughter & boisterous antics that kept everyone on their toes. She was constantly reminded of her family ties, so Lily busted out on her own as a vivacious track star. Boldly independent she started working at 15 & never stopped. Lily paid tribute to her ideals through her many tattoos (sometimes to her parents’ dismay). Creative, spiritual & always curious. “But why…?” she would ask endlessly. Lily’s adventurous spirit brought our entire family together as we embarked on “glamping “for the past few years. The love of Lily’s life was her children. You are forever in the hearts of those who truly love you!

Lily was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Louis Orsini. Lily is survived by her most precious children; Asia Leilani (5), Armani Ra’Kari (2) and A’Leia Rain (4 months), her devoted parents Sean and Lynn (Orsini) Brown, grandparents: Roberta Turner (late Louis Orsini), (late Neil Turner), Thomas and Kathleen Brown. Her siblings: Serena, Nina, Milan, Tiernan and Devon. Lily is loved by her big extended family: several nieces, including her special niece Charlie Rose nephews, Aunts & Uncles: Louis & Becky Orsini, Thomas and Courtney Brown and Kara Brown& many close cousins.

In keeping with Lily’s loving & generous spirit, she continued to think of others by giving the gift of life through Donate Life America.

The family wishes to say a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Ellis ICU for the compassionate care they gave to Lily. Also, a special expression of gratitude to Erin Musto, Donation Specialist for DLA for coordinating & guiding us through honoring Lily’s last wishes.

A Celebration of Life to honor Lily will be held at a later date to be announced by her family.
