SCHENECTADY - Kenneth Jude Tucker Brownell passed away suddenly Sunday November 11, 2018 at Ellis Hospital.
Born May 21, 1963 in Randolph MA, Son of the late Kenneth and Shirley Brownell Tucker. Ken graduated from Nashua High School in Nashua NH and did many things throughout his life from EMT to Sales but the Hospitality industry is where he found his home. Kenny lived in NH until 1993 when he came to Schenectady on Thanksgiving to visit his Aunt and Uncle Kay and Stew Tucker and his Tucker Cousins. He left and came back 2 days later and moved in with them. He lived there until the time of his passing. At the time of his death he was working at the Home 2 by Hilton in Albany NY as well as for Sodexo at GE Main plant.
Kenny was survived by his love Alex Smith who shared many memories and adventures with. Ken loved to travel; some of his favorite places to visit were Montreal QC which was a yearly trip for Him and his Cousin Dale. He also loved spending time at Hampton Beach, Boston, NYC and most recently Houston, and spent his final year sharing those places with his loving companion Alex.
Kenny was survived by his one love, Alex Smith who he shared many memories and adventures with and loved beyond words. In addition to Alex, Ken is survived by his Aunt Katherine (Kay) Tucker, her children, Irene Baldovino, Sharon (Robert) DuBois, Stephen (Deborah) Tucker, Carol Tucker-Reedy, Michelle (Frank) Barbera, and Dale Tucker who was like a Brother to him. He is also survived by his Aunt Joyce Lynch of LA, as well as his Cousins Carlene (David) Couper of LA, and Elizabeth (David) Wharton of GA. He is also survived by many 2nd and 3rd cousins whom He cherished and, loved him and will miss him dearly. Kenny also leaves behind his loving companion Milo.
Ken is predeceased by his Parents, his Aunts Irene (Tucker) Middleton, June Hickey (Tucker), Uncles, Stewart Tucker, and Jack (John Henry) Norton and several Cousins.
Kenny also had a host of friends whose lives have been forever changed by merely knowing him. A gentle soul who gave to others selflessly and without hesitation. He had a heart of gold and was a true and loyal friend to many.
Services will be held Saturday December 1st at 4 pm at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street, Schenectady, NY.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Saturday from 1-4 pm.
