Josephine R. 'Jo" Musco

SCHENECTADY- Josephine ‘Jo’ Musco, 79, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by those she loved.
Jo was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Theresa Pannone Cafferillo. She was a graduate of Linton High School, class of 1962, and received her associate degree from Albany Business College. Jo worked as a medical secretary for several area doctors’ before finishing her 40-year career with Dr. Patel, Mika, and Capital Care. Jo was a kind, patient, and caring woman. She enjoyed antiquing and showcasing her treasures in her home. Jo loved to travel; dine out and enjoy the winter months in Florida.
She was predeceased by her parents; and siblings, Dominic Cafferillo and Angela Cafferillo.
Jo is survived by her beloved husband John Musco, whom she married on January 1, 1972; devoted son, Billy Musco; grandchildren, Alexus, Kevin, and Chauncey Musco; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
The Musco family is grateful to her caregiver, Sue Macintosh, for her friendship and the loving, and compassionate care, she gave to not only Jo but the entire family.
Services will be held on Saturday at 9 am from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Anthony’s Church. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Friday from 4-7 pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Jo’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at stjude.org
