ST. AUGUSTINE, FL – Joan M. Stinzianni, 83, formerly of Edgewood Avenue, entered into eternal rest on Thursday at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Joan was born October 16, 1927 in Schenectady, a daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel Pidgeon Hall. She was a 1945 graduate of St. Joseph's Academy. Joan was a loving spirited woman, devoted to her family first. She managed two coffee shops, and was a waitress at various Schenectady restaurants for 58 years, before working as a machinist at Campbell Plastics in Rotterdam.
She was predeceased by her husband Rudy Stinzianni in 2006 and her siblings, Edward R. Hall, Don C. Hall, Beverly Hallstead and Marion Raczkoski.
Survivors include her beloved sons, Theodore Bechard, Jr., and his wife Dale, of Averill Park and Gregory A. Stinzianni and his wife Cynthia, of St. Augustine, FL; a sister, Doris Emerich; a brother Arthur Hall; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
Services will be held Thursday morning at 8:30 am from the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Union at N. Jay Streets, and then to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Princetown Road, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM.
