BOCA RATON – Jennie Meola, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 6th, at the Hospice by the Sea.
Jennie was born in Schenectady on June 24, 1918. She worked for Macy's for 15 years and was a lifetime member of St. Anthony's Church. After residing in Schenectady for 93 years, she had recently moved to Boca Raton, Florida. Her life was centered around her family, providing them with unconditional love and strength. Jennie will forever live on in the hearts of her beloved family.
Jennie was predeceased by her loving brother Clarence Benequisto.
She is survived by Patsy, her loving and devoted husband of 73 years; her loving children, Angela Stadulis (Frank), of Boca Raton, Michael Meola(Linda), of Schenectady and Peter Meola(Carol), of Hartsdale, NY; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday June 9th at St. Anthony's Church, Seward Place, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Richard A. Carlino at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in Sts. Cyril & Method Cemetery, Rotterdam.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Friday June 8th from 2 to 5 pm.
