Jane Marcell

LATHAM- Jane Marcell, 85, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday at her residence.
Jane was born in Schenectady on November 9, 1926 the daughter of the late John and Hermina Yunik Marcell. She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and was employed as a secretary for the General Electric Company and retired after 40 years of dedicated service. She attended the former St. Columba Church.
Jane was under the compassionate care of Barb Martin and Lisa Fortner both of whom made her life most comfortable, to which Jane's family is forever grateful.
Jane is survived by her devoted sister, Angeline Leonardo; loving nephews, Paul A. Leonardo and David L. Leonardo and adoring great-nephew Ryan Leonardo, all of Latham. She was predeceased by her brother Donald J. Marcell.
Private services will be held at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral with Fr. John Facci, officiating. Interment will take place in the Leonardo Family Plot at St. Anthony's Cemetery.
