SCHENECTADY – Jacklyn M. Lane, 72, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 28, 2022.
Jackie was born in Oneonta on January 29, 1950, a daughter of the late Virginia Brockway. She graduated from Cherry Valley High School. Relocating to the Schenectady area, Jackie worked in the manufacturing field, including Coleco, Beechnut, and Georgia Pacific. In more recent years Jackie worked in construction, bartended locally, and retired as a rehabilitation manager from DCG Development in Clifton Park. Jackie was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a kind-spirited woman and had a welcoming smile.
Jackie was predeceased by a sister, Deborah Borggreen.
She is survived by her children, Karmen (Michael) Bush, Heidi Pashley, and Chad (Kathy) Keller; grandchildren, Roland (Destiny) Parslow, Denise Richburg, Christopher Rodriguez, Erin (Tyler) White, Zak, and Devon Keller; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Rodriguez, Chayton Parslow, and William White; sisters,
Mary Park, Judy Lindberg, Wendy Kimmer, Linda Westman, Susan Schaffer, and Ethel Patchell; and a brother-in-law, Richard Borggreen; her dear friend and caretaker, Cathy (Tony) Waahila, whom Jackie considered a daughter and son-in-law; a friend, Elaine Clark, many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 2 to 4 pm.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 4 pm at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street. Interment will be in the spring in Oneonta Plains Cemetery.
