SCHENECTADY- Ida Gardino, 92, of Sheridan Village, died on Saturday morning with her loving family at her side.
She was born in Schenectady on November 30, 1920 a daughter of the late Henry and Candida Gresta Patrignani.
Ida will be remembered as a devoted daughter, wife, sister and aunt.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph 'George' Gardino and her first husband Raymond 'Red' Larrabee, who was killed in action during the Battle of the Bulge, nephews, Jack Mangino and Thomas Miceli.
She is survived by her loving sisters, Enes Miceli and Rita Mangino; adoring nieces and nephews, Michael and Judy Mangino, Patty Mangino, Shelly Miceli, Candida and Robert Freer, Joseph and Rebecca Miceli, Melissa Mangino, Christian Miceli and Maria Adams, Paris Miceli and Angie Krogh, Amy Mangino, Christopher, Kelly and Mason Mangino, Jamie and Sana Kelly, Marc Mangino, Michael Anthony Mangino, Richard Kelly and Domenic Miceli and a brother and sister in-law, Angelo and Jennie Gardino.
Services will be held on Thursday at 1 pm at the Rossi & Ditoro, Union at N. Jay Streets. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Thursday from 12 noon until the service.
