Helen M. Potts

SCHENECTADY – Helen M. Potts, 94, entered peacefully into the Arms of the Lord on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
Helen, a lifelong resident of Schenectady, was the beloved daughter of the late Russell and Carmela (Crispino) Potts. She was educated in Schenectady schools and dedicated many years of hard work to Coyne Laundry before later joining Capital District OTB.
A loving sister and aunt, Helen cherished her family deeply. She had a generous spirit, always willing to share her love and kindness with those around her. Helen had a special place in her heart for animals and found joy in their companionship. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for family will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her loving siblings, Minnie Catalano, Dominic Potts, Sr., Floyd Potts; her twin Anthony Potts and nephews, Col. Russell Catalano and Dominic Potts, Jr.
She is survived by her many beloved and dear nieces and nephews.
Services will be held tomorrow, Friday April 4th, at 6 pm at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, with Fr. John Califano, officiating.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home tomorrow, Friday, from 4 pm until the Service.
