Harold fought hard to beat his illness in a medical system that held a cure just out of his reach. Throughout his illness, he amazed everyone around him with his grace, humor, and strength. The family would like to extend their gratitude and love to Dr Diana Page who took care of Harold on his journey for the last ten years and was his trusted friend as well as his doctor. The family would also like to thank Chaplain Rich Moran at Ellis Hospital who provided spiritual comfort to Harold, Patient Advocate Denise, Dr. Ford in the ICU, and the Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Tech’s who treated Harold like family, and took extraordinary care of him; and the amazing people at Mountain Valley Hospice who provided him comfort and peace in his final days. We are also grateful to his close friends Wayne Cole, John& Judy Ostrowski, Tom & Penny Amato, Gene Ryan, Lou DeMeo, and Diane Ley who visited him, checked in on him and provided support throughout his illness.
