Grace V. Avery Applebee

Grace V. "Avery" Applebee, 82, entered into eternal life on April 1, 2019 at Ellis Hospital, after a brief illness. She now sits at the right hand side of her Savior. Grace was born in Ghent, NY a daughter of the late George and Hazel Bowdy Avery. She graduated from Ichabod Crane High School in Kinderhook and was a devoted and loving wife and mother. Grace has been a devout member of New Life Ministries since 1978. She was predeceased by her husband Edward,whom she married on August 20, 1957. She so loved Eddie and missed him so much after his death in June 2000. She was also predeceased by her loving sons, Edward Applebee and Kevin Applebee. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ann Applebee and Sharon Lea Applebee, and her sons, Michael Douglas Applebee and Howard C. Applebee; her grandchildren and many dear friends. The Applebee family will be forever grateful to Grace's staff at The Eddy. Your kindness, care and compassion will always be remembered. Friends and relatives are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 am until 12 noon. The Pastors from New Life Ministries will preform services at noon. Interment will follow in Hannicroix Rural Cemetery in Westerlo.
