George L. Simpson

GLENVILLE - George L. Simpson, 79, passed peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Ellis Hospital.
George was born in Moriah, NY, a son of the late Raymond and Mary Ryan Simpson. He was educated locally and honorably served in the US Army. A successful businessman, George founded B&G Roofing, servicing the local communities for over 40 years. He was a man of strong character, integrity, and honor. He was devoted to his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them, especially the pride and joy of his life, his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was loved dearly and will be missed by many.
He was a life member of the Guan Ho Ha Club and the Empire Rod and Gun Club.
George was predeceased by his wife Georgiadean D. Sullivan; and two siblings.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Lisa A. Stimpson-Pangione and her husband Joe; son, Raymond L. Simpson; grandchildren, Tyler M. (Autumn) Simpson, Brytney J. Stimpson, Valerie J. Stimpson, Kyle Z. Stimpson, Morgan R. Pangione, and Mason J. Pangione; great-grandchildren, Lochlin M. Simpson and Aleena R. Simpson; 3 siblings; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family celebrates George’s life, with their memories and love.
