SCHENECTADY - Gary Burnham 69, a lifelong resident of Schenectady passed away on March 30 after a valiant battle with COPD.
He worked at Mark’s Mobil in Colonie and was a local truck driver. Gary was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mark and Thelma. Gary’s younger years were proudly lived in the fast lane. As he aged, he lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; sports, coffee, reading, snacking and spending time with family and friends.
Left to treasure his memory are his brother David (Kathleen) Burnham, sister Marie (Randall) Britten, niece Andrea (Kevin) Buttenschon, nephews Mark and Nicholas Britten; and his cherished lifelong friends that he spoke with daily. In remembrance of Gary, the family asks you carry out a simple act of kindness for someone less fortunate.
Services will be held at 1 pm on Monday April 12th at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union St. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Monday from 12 noon until the service.
