Ethel Gibbon

GLENVILLE – Ethel Gibbon, 91, passed away on March 7, 2022, after a brief illness.
Ethel was born Ballston Spa a daughter of the late Peter and Marion Davey David. She graduated from Draper High School and worked in the dietary field. Ethel married John Gibbon in 1961 and together they located to Allentown, PA. Ethel worked as a dietician at the State Hospital, retiring after 30 years of service.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Peter and George David.
Ethel is survived by her loving sister, Elizabeth “Jenny” Hanley; nephews, William (Margaret) Hanley, David Hanley and Frank David; great-niece, Stephanie (Brian) Hotaling, all of Schenectady.
Ethel’s family would like to thank the Glendale Home, Dutch Hollow Unit, for their care and compassion and Pam in the Activity Department for her kindness and friendship.
Graveside services will be held on Monday at 8:30 am at the Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown, PA.
